We have bundled the Sr800 and the Glass EXT tube for this ebay listing.  The glass extension tube was developed by one of our users that found that it helped with the roasters performance.  If your roasting location is below 55*F ambient air temp, this can help make up the difference.  IF the supply voltage is low and the roaster is not able to achieve a dark enough roast, this extension tube can help. There are seals that you use in the stock roasting chamber.

The SR800 is the newest addition to the SR Series of green Coffee Roasters from Home Roasting Supplies.   Our customers wanted an affordable 1/2 pound roaster and the new SR800 is the answer. With a roast capacity of 8oz./ 226 Grams of wet-processed beans.  For best results with dry processed beans reduce the roasting amount to 6oz/ 170 Grams. Dry processed beans create more chaff than wet-processed. The roaster features a new heavy-duty high capacity fan and heater.  It has an improved control board. All adjustments are made with pushing the knob and turning to adjust the heat, fan, and time. It also features a real-time temperature readout. A quick turn of the knob to the right will display the current temperature. There are now 9 levels of heat adjustment compared to having a Low, Medium, and High adjustment. The fan also has a wider range of adjustment. The chaff basket and top lid from earlier SR roasters will not fit on the new SR800 or SR540. The roasting chamber is a much larger diameter. Users are also able to change the default start settings. This roaster is not computer controlled.

SR800 Extension Tube is 10.25" Tall.  It comes with high-temperature silicone bands for the bottom and one double lip seal for the midsection.  This glass extension tube is made to help the SR800 with bean movement and better heat output.  This tube is to be used with the original chamber and chaff basket.   This SR800 Extension tube will allow the machine to run on lower fan and heat settings once the beans get lighter in weight.  We usually finish with FAN 2, and HEAT 1.  This will be very useful for any users that have a harder time with their supply voltage being slightly inadequate.
*The SR800 is designed to roast 8oz of green wet-processed coffee beans.  Going above the specified amount of green coffee can run the risk of plugging up the chaff basket and causing a chaff fire. The user must inspect and monitor the chaff basket for fullness and adjust the bean quantity as needed.
